"Science fiction is not obsolete!"

J.R. Minkel at Scientific American takes umbrage at Bruno Maddox's assertion [in the August issue of Discover] that science fiction is obsolete.

Next time, Bruno? Don't use Michael Crichton as your example. Just sayin'.

im reading brunos other stuff. at wikipedia they have them all: seems like hes inventive with language. maybe it was satire?
