Slow Me Down by Emmy Rossum

Bonus video. Just because. Slow Me Down, a song I find quietly exhilarating. If Emmy Rossum looks familiar, it's most likely that you've seen her on film in either Mystic River or getting hot and heavy with Gerard Butler in the ill-fated movie adapation of Andrew Lloyd Webber's The Phantom of the Opera. (Don't hold that movie against her.) More at her Myspace page.

Pat Benatar also had serious opera training. Interesting, no?

And high school chorus directors the world over have a new song to arrange.

It's an addictive song... can't stop listening to it.

I really love it. Must have played it fifty times.
