Cats in denial.

Apparently the FMPs are in deep denial about my catch and release of their elusive mousie this morning. They are still scurrying around the house sniffing and tearing up paper. I think I may have damaged them emotionally by denying them their inherent prowess as mousers.

(But, dudes? The FMPs are totally inept at catching mice. Something had to be done.)

FMP's ever do that thing where they catch a mouse, then eat the mouse, but only selected portions. Ours once at the mid-section, leaving the head and tail intact. And a couple of times she's scalped them, almost as if she's about to transplant their brains or something... quite disgusting... >blech<

And there really should have been a question mark at the end of that first sentence. And probably a prefix, like 'Your...' or something.

>sigh< Nurse! My caffeine!

Hope fully it's the FMPS who are in denial and not the Biped-with-a-cold who doesn't want to believe that said mouse might've had friends or family...
