Via Elizabeth Bear, this link to an amazing blog called The Daily Coyote. The Daily Coyote is the chronicle of Charlie, an orphaned coyote who lives with his human (Shreve Stockton) and his cat (Eli, a yellow tabby who apparently suffers furry four-footed fools begrudgingly) in a small town in Wyoming.
Charlie was orphaned at ten days old when his parents were killed by local ranchers; local photographer Shreve Stockton took him him and began to document his growth in daily photographs that she sent out to friends via email. Recently she started the blog to write about her experience of living with Charlie. It's well worth reading. If you'd like to sign up for the Daily Coyote email, you can do so here. You can also help Shreve pay for Charlie's upkeep by purchasing Daily Coyote calendars and prints here. And those of you in self-imposed Live Journal exile can subscribe to the Daily Coyote LJ feed here. (On a different note, Shreve also has another pretty amazing blog called Vespa Vagabond, which chronicles her trip across the United States by Vespa.)
