A More Perfect Union.
Yeah. This guy? He gets it.

If you haven't had a chance to listen to this yet, do yourself a favor and take the time to listen to it now.

Yes we can!

Obama '08

I remember watching it. I almost cried. He wrote the speech himself. You can see the passion and emotion, and the caring.

Have you seen him dancing on Ellen Gringa? It's worth a watch:

Surely a man with such great plans for America, and with great dance moves to match, is perfection for the oval office?

I saw that when it aired! Obama is so amazing, inspirational, and such a breath of fresh air compared to the politics I've been used to throughout my lifetime. I turned 21 today, and basically, the U.S. government has been run by Clinton or Bush people for the past 20 years. It's completely time for a change, and I agree with the direction Obama wants to take our country. :)

And what's funny (and sad?) is his 'new' direction is basically him reminding everyone what our country is supposed to be all about. He's reminding us of our roots, in a way, and that we've strayed way too far away from them. I really hope he'll get a chance to lead us back on course!

Joya I'm 21 as well. I was born in United States (Connecticut) and lived there till about age 4. Guess who is voting absintee in this election?

I blogged about this the other day. This speech basically moved me from the "I like both him and Clinton, but kinda prefer Obama" camp to the "this guy needs to be elected" camp.

Wow. I had not seen it. What a landmark speech. What a brilliant orator.

I so wish he had been addressing a huge crowd, with cutaways to those listening, and without those completely annoying words scrolling by and the graphics at the bottom. That speech and his delivery deserved to be the only thing on the screen besides the reaction of those who were there.

Thanks for putting it up.

@Nathan- Everyone I've spoken to has been saying that. The more people listen to him, the more they get to know him and his plans for America, the more they realize there is no one better. This man needs to be the next president.

I want a UNITED States of America. The only candidate who can make that happen is Obama. That's why I'm voting for him.

The way he speaks, his eloquence, his platform....I've never felt so represented by any presidential candidate in a long time.

He needs to be in the oval office. I want to turn the page to a new chapter in American History.

Gina - Did it not almost move you to tears? I'm not someone who easily cries that often but I really felt tears coming to my eyes.
