Agent/Editor link round-up!

We haven't done one of these in a long time, but I've been seeing and bookmarking so many great agent/editor blog posts that I thought it was time to share:
Over at BookEnds, agent Jessica Faust talks about the difference between unlikable characters and flawed ones, and why you should care. Also, a very useful discussion on co-author agreements.

Agent Chip MacGregor answers questions from writers about second books and switching between genres.

Agent Terry Whalin discusses how to use Twitter to promote yourself more effectively. Also, how to master Twitter in ten minutes or less!

At the Guide to Literary Agents blog, Chuck Sambuchino discusses copyright and why you don't really need to copyright your manuscript.

Agent Janet Reid skewers some truly boneheaded questions she's encountered in query letters recently. (People! Think before you type!)

I don't know why I find this so awesome but I do: British agent Simon Trewin is now representing Manchester United! How can you not think that's make of pure win???

At Redlines & Deadlines, Raeline Gorlinksy is talking about critique groups and what questions you should be asking to determine if a critique group is worth your while.

Over at the new Waxman Agency blog, agent Holly Root talks about the ten questions you should ask yourself after your query has been rejected. Good stuff!

And, lastly, agent Nathan Bransford continues to put all of us to shame in his ongoing - and excellent - blogging about agenting and publishing. And, um, reality TV.

Another good one would be "Pub Rants", over at The Nelson Agency.

An intern was posting, and she had me doubled over when she mentioned they get checks and gifts with queries, including popcorn.
