I have to admit, when I first started out I was quite overwriting overwriter, and a repetitious repeater. Thankfully OWW has helped me recognize the error of my ways.
I wish more people knew about the workshop. It might help those woeful agents.
Is it wrong that I try not to overwrite out of sheer laziness? It's easier to use words a sixth grader can understand than it is to make everything as purple as a field of violets.
Of course, if I do overwrite, you can always smack me upside the head. Just let me take my glasses off first. ;)

OWW is ok, but I blame homegrown workshops (a.k.a. mutual admiration societies), where overwriting is often applauded.
Someone finally hit my own pet peeve: any word that ends in "ingly." Lovingly, exceedingly, laughingly...they make me stop reading.

Ah, geez. Must remember the KISS principle while writing...
