Jarucia said...: I've read this book countless time as a child and later as I worked with kids. I especially enjoyed reading it with the boys I used to nanny.

I'm glad they went with LIVE-action...

Sex Mahoney for President said...: Those Caldecott Medal books are so pretentious. I only let my children read books that will crush them like The Soviet Frowning Handbook for Dispirited Children. I also take them on factory tours for boring products like plastic caps and cardboard packaging.
